I have worked for different levels of government in the Brazilian Amazon, Canada and Portugal for NGOs developing, managing and supporting projects of Urban Planning, Regulations, Urban Design and Sustainability. ISTR Civil Society Policy Impact Research Award 2022
Cavalcante's paper discusses grassroots, youth and social media movements which have had a transformative effect on an Amazon community and their relationship to the state government.
Good Academic Practices
This award is a recognition for the results of the ILD project in 2020. It was granted by the Institute of Citizen Entrepeurneship.
II Cauê Architecture Award
In 2003 we got this recognition for the Itaituba Waterfront by the Brazilian Institute of Architects. The jury recognized the importance of the project for the sustainable development in the middle of the Amazon.
